Certification AI in Procurement & Supply Chain Management

CAIPSCM

From AI Confusion to AI Competence — in Just 2 Weeks.

Cut through the AI complexity. Understand what really matters, how it affects your career, and how to use it to make better decisions.

Procurement leaders need to understand how to manage AI in the business.

CAIPSCM is designed for procurement and supply chain professionals who do not need to become AI technicians, but do need to understand:

AI → Use Cases → Governance → Risk → Human Oversight → Agentic AI → Implementation

The objective is to help you move from simply using AI to understanding how AI can be managed and applied responsibly in procurement and supply chain.

Introduction to Certification AI in Procurement & Supply Chain Management

AI explained by a businessman — for business professionals.

No coding. No technical jargon. No need to become an AI technologist.
Just practical understanding of how AI is changing procurement, supply chain and business decision-making.

This program offers the designation of Certification AI in Procurement & Supply Chain Management (CAIPSCM) to candidates who demonstrate their understanding of the fundamentals of the profession through the successful completion of rigorous professional certification examinations based upon the INTERNATIONAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT BODY OF KNOWLEDGE (ISCMBOK).

Course Objectives for CAIPSCM Certification

By completing the CAIPSCM programme, participants will be able to:

  • Apply AI from a business perspective rather than a technology perspective — understanding what matters to managers, decision-makers and business leaders without being overwhelmed by technical complexity.

  • Understand the business implications of AI and how technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs and Agentic AI are changing Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

  • Distinguish where AI can augment people and where it can automate processes, identifying practical opportunities to improve productivity, decision-making and business value.

  • Develop practical AI competence through effective Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering and structured AI workflows — without needing to become a programmer or technologist.

  • Evaluate AI readiness by understanding the importance of data quality, organisational maturity, technology infrastructure, privacy, security and responsible AI use.

  • Design practical AI-enabled workflows that connect people, AI and business applications to improve operational performance.

  • Identify and prioritise AI opportunities within Procurement and Supply Chain, moving from experimentation to a structured implementation strategy.

  • Lead AI-driven transformation by developing the knowledge, confidence and leadership approach required to move Procurement and Supply Chain from the backroom to the boardroom.

  • Develop a personal AI Transformation Blueprint identifying where AI can create immediate and longer-term value within their organisation.

WHAT OUR PARTICIPANTS SAY

Michele Iappini

Procurement / Cost Management

The course was extremely relevant, especially considering my background in procurement. Several concepts were also partially applicable to my current role in cost management and cost engineering.

Given the length of the course, the content covered all the key topics and provided a solid overview.

I appreciated the alternation between discussions with the facilitator and the video materials. This mix helped keep the sessions dynamic and easy to follow.

The facilitator’s passion for the topic was evident. It helped maintain a high level of focus and motivation throughout the program.

The duration was relatively short, but this was also a strength, since the course condensed all content into three weekends without losing quality.

The virtual format was easy, practical and allowed smooth participation.

I recommend adding more practical examples, ideally based on real cases, and going deeper into the application side, not only on prompt drafting.

Overall, I enjoyed the course and found it valuable.

Fatou Sarr DIAGNE

Senior Procurement Specialist — Gorée Offshore Engineering

The course was truly valuable and enriching. It gave me fresh perspective on how AI can enhance procurement processes, and I feel better equipped to start applying some of these ideas in my role.

Ronnie’s depth of knowledge, combined with his diverse professional background, made the sessions both insightful and highly engaging.

I appreciated the way he incorporated real-life examples to explain complex concepts.

I wish him continued success and I hope our paths cross again, which I am sure they will.

Stefani Cassiano

Procurement Supervisor — NextPower

Overall, I found the CAIPSCM course very interesting and valuable. It gave me some useful insights, especially around procurement KPIs, and helped me better understand how AI actually works and how it can be applied in procurement and supply chain activities.

One of my main takeaways was realizing that working with AI can actually be much simpler than it may seem at first. Before the course, I expected prompt creation to be more complex and technical, but I learned that good prompts are often about being clear, specific, and giving the right context.

At the same time, from a discovery perspective, the course was a little different from what I initially expected. Some of the concepts and applications were more straightforward than I had imagined, so not everything felt completely new to me. However, the course helped me organize my understanding of AI, see its practical applications more clearly, and think about how I can use it more effectively in my day-to-day work in procurement.

Overall, it was a positive learning experience, and I appreciate the professor's approach in making AI feel accessible and practical rather than overly complicated.
